I. Water Bill Increase

1.What is the basis of the cost increase?

2.What improvements come along with the increase?



II. Water System

1.  What type of water system is installed here?
2.  How long ago was it put it?
3.  How many wells do you use?
4.  Do you test each of them?
5.  Can we see full reports for the last 5 years?
6.  Who is the person in charge of running the system?
7.  Is he/she state certified?
8.  Is a daily record kept of temperature results?
9.  Has your improvements been filed at the County Level? The State Level?
10.Can your system provide 20 lbs per square inch at ground level to all points in the distribution             system?
11.Is the system flushed out? If so how often & when?
12.Is your system designed with a return flow system?
13.Do you notify the state when you interrupt water service?
14.What type of filtering system is in place?
15.Has a Sanitary survey ever been done to test the Watersheds and ground water aquifers?
16.Do you have a water supply emergency plan?
17.How do you go about warning us residents of potential health hazards?
18.What steps do you have in place to ensure delivery of potable water during a water supply                   emergency?
19.When were the pipes put it?
20.What material were the pipes made of?
21.Has the water system ever been tested for asbestos?
22.When lines break why is no boil water advisories issued?
23.Can the system supply adequate potable water with the influx of new campers on the system?
24.How can we legally get off your system if we have our own wells?
25.How much water is used on an average weekday? Weekend?
26.Can you break it down by homeowner vs. camper?





III. Septic System

1.How many 55 gallon drums are buried under our houses? Campground?
2.Are they eroding into the water system?
3.Can the county approve a variance to move a proposed septic system closer to the water than                  100’ from high water mark on Lot 43
4.What is your septic system?
5.What are you holding tanks made out of?
6.Has it ever been pumped out? When? By Whom? – See Letter from Keating
7.How do you maintain the system? Is pumped out once a year, once every 5 years?
8.Where is the leach fields located?
9.Do they empty into or near the wetlands?
10.      When was the system built?
11.      Can it handle the influx of new users?
12.      Is there a dump station for the campers?

IV. Road Repair and Maintenance

1.If there are 50+ homeowners and 44 proposed campsites shouldn’t the road cost be split down the            middle with between Groman and the Residents. 
2.A good road needs to be constructed, with swales and crowns.  It cannot be a paved road due to              the weather conditions.  It would never hold up.
3.Since there are now 20+ campers, we think 1/3 of the cost would be adequate.

4.Can road widths and turn around dimensions 102’ be changed at will?

5.Is there adequate turn around for emergency vehicles throughout the property?


V. Campground Management

1.Where are the trash and recyclable facilities going?
2.How are the camper stickers on visitor’s cars going to be controlled?
3.Where is guest registration?
4.What hours are they open?
5.How do they obtain them after hours?
6.How will this be enforced?
7.Who reads the meters?
8.Does each site have a number?
9.Who is maintaining the common areas?
10.      Where are the designated parking areas?
11.      Who is responsible for enforcing quiet hours?
12.      Do you have any activities planned for the campground?
13.      How is cleanliness of sites monitored and addressed?
14.      Who is responsible if a camper trespasses on a resident’s property?


VI. Additional Signage and speed enforcement

Law enforcement has no control of speed on a private road, what can be done about the enforcing the speed in which cars, trucks and vans travel thru here? We would like more signs put up especially coming in off of Route 3.


VII. Right of Ways

On Keicher Drive there is a 50 foot right of way- If a tree comes down or is threatening to come down is Groman LLC obligated to clear it or remove the potential hazard?
